Our vision is for a society where fewer people die by suicide because we allow people to share feelings of emotional despair without fear of being judged.
Get in Touch
Samaritans believe that offering people the opportunity to be listened to in confidence, and accepted without prejudice, can alleviate despair and suicidal feelings.
Become a volunteer
We are a friendly group of all ages and backgrounds, but clearly since we deal with vulnerable people some checks are needed. Like all other branches, Banbury and District runs its own training for new Samaritans.
Outreach
Banbury and District Branch is commited to the National Strategy of reaching out to people in the open. As part of this, we will be supporting the Cropredy Festival in August 2011.
Our supporters
We are extremely grateful to all those companies, organisations and individuals who support us. Every donation we recieve helps us to provide vital services to people in emotional distress.
